Film Screenings

LA has screenings nightly and sometimes you fall upon a gem like I did last month at the DGA when Overture presented The Visitor with director Tom McCarthy (available at Amazon, Netflix, Blockbuster).

Tonight, M 12/24, IFC & The Consulate General of Sweden is screening Everlasting Moments the Official Foreign Film Selection of Sweden at the Academy Awards. Filmmaker Jan Troell will be on hand for Q&A.

Tomorrow, Tu 12/25, IFC is screening the winner of the Camera d’Or at Cannes 2008, Hunger, starring Michael Fassbender and Liam Cunningham.   Filmmaker Steve McQueen will be on hand for Q&A.
