#SDCC Comic-Con!!! The Guide

Mayhem descends on San Diego today and I just can’t wait!!!  It’s time for Comic-Con!!!  Blockbuster movies, TV premieres, AAA games, classic comics – the ultimate love fest for fans of pop.  William Shatner, Chevy Chase, Adam West, Richard Hatch, Colin Farrell, Matt Groening, Elijiah Wood, Bill Pullman, Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Lucy Lawless, Chuck Lorre, Zach Whedon, Wil Wheaton, Kevin Smith, Stan Lee, Wes Craven, Pee-wee Herman, Alex Albrecht, Adam Baldwin, Joel McHale, Alex Borstein, Seth Green… If you didn’t get a pass (like the second they went on sale), bummer, it’s sold out!  And IGN, Wikia, Spike/MTV have their lists.  But that doesn’t mean you’ll miss it all.  Monsters and Mages – dress as your favorite creatures, mix it up with celebs, and party on rooftop pools and in the streets.  You don’t need a pass to check out the Star Wars scene at the Hilton Gaslamp, and there’s tons of coverage and parties to crash everywhere.

Watch for an exciting day tomorrow from Reckoning (ahem, blatant plug for my game) starting at Noon at the Convention Center in Room 25ABC as we host comics legend Todd McFarlane (Spawn creator and master of iconic action figures), BHG Art Director Tim Coman and his team of dev stars as they present Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning: Bringing Worlds to Life, From Concept to Pixel showcasing the artistic process of creating an award-winning epic open world fantasy role playing game. Lots of fun and surprises in the queue as we play around with the Reckoning Hammer and give away Limited Edition Destiny Cards, and more.  Adam Sessler of X-Play moderates.  Date and time of the G4TV and GameSpot broadcast will post here.  Then from 5:30-7pm, head over to the BioWare Star Wars – Mass Effect blitz-o-rama where my EA pals have taken over the Hilton Gaslamp.  There, on the promenade, will be a killer meet and greet with Todd McFarlane and the BHG devs who will be signing a collectible Todd McFarlane Limited Edition Poster.  Guaranteed to be a wicked good time as we’ll be showing something special on the big screen.  Oh and there’s so much more but far be it from me to be a spoiler.  You’ll get it all at facebook.com/reckoningthegame and @reckoninggame so be sure to follow!
