YouTube Live
On November 22, 2008, YouTube Live blew the roof off Fort Mason in San Francisco as 3000 invited fans sprung to their chairs with Flip cameras in the air when Katy Perry took the stage. Then it was on to the best of branded entertainment as Chad Vader dared Will It Blend? We’ll I’m sold. Wish they had those blenders for sale onsite. Other skits included Mayor Gavin Newsom with the Queen of Jordan delivering her top ten, Charlie the Unicorn, Joe Satriani, Mythbusters, Fred, Esmee, Michael Buckley, Hammer, AKON, will.i.am, and pretty much something from everyone YouTube ever made famous, except that is Obama Girl. If she was there, I missed her. All streamed live for a worldwide audience of millions celebrating the wildest, most entertaining party of the year. Smartly sponsored by Lionsgate, Guitar Hero, Virgin America, and Flip Video. Check it out at www.youtube.com/live.
