Sheppard Mullin Digital Media Law Forum: A Closer Look at the Veoh Decision
Last night, 70 high profile guests were treated to a lush kickoff of the Sheppard Mullin Digital Media Law Forum at the Commonwealth Club. The event was held at the Four Seasons Palo Alto and amidst mashed potato martinis, the biggest names in digital media soaked in expert advice from Zahavah Levine, YouTube, Josh Metzger, Veoh, Fred von Lohmann, Electronic Frontier Foundation and James Chadwick, Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton. In full disclosure, yes I was the producer of the event and creator of the business development environment for the key players shaping online video including: Chronicle Books, Cisco, Funny or Die, Google, iTunes, Hummer Winblad, Metacafe, PayPal, Roku, Schematic, TimeWarner, TiVo, YouTube, Yahoo… Next event is on February 5 featuring Pandora, Spin, CreateSpace and imeem.
